Made a drop-shaped necklace with the diamond she inherited from her family. She came to my studio with this diamond last summer.
It is surely like a drop of the time her family nurtured and also like a sign of something beginning for her.
I went to my favorite beach with this necklace before the shipping.
It was a beautiful sunny day with the winter breeze from the ocean.
The diamond was almost transparent blue reflecting the sea. And it was shining brightly in the sunlight. I couldn’t help but narrow my eyes.
The diamond is about 5mm. I had to shape it to fit the size of her diamond keeping it as compact as possible.
I think I could create something close to the image we had in mind together. It was so slowly, old-fashioned handmade.
When I look up at the sky. Light filtered through the thick clouds and was cast onto the sea. It was a gentle winter light just like sending heartwarming applause.
I hope she can use it for a long time.
Thank you so much for the happy days I could make your jewelry!!
