Spring sunlight filtering through the leaves cast a gentle shadow on the rings.
The fern pattern engraved on the surface looked like new life, as if it had been created by that shadow.
The rings shone softly, as if enjoying the warmth in a small forest.
We met in my studio at Yakushima South and found a beautiful idea for their rings.
It was an inspirational moment, surrounded by the crisp air of early winter.
Linked Fern Leaves, when the two rings come to life on Yakushima
Making two rings with flowers that herald spring on this southern island.
Thank You, As Always. In a small forest near my studio. #YakushimaCustomRingStories
The rings are now complete, and fiddlehead ferns can be seen everywhere these days.
We spent the whole winter together making their rings.
Thank you for your warm support throughout this process.
Looking at the rings in the green forest, I was filled with the joy of something newly born.

The yellow gold harmonizes with the green of the forest.
That softness probably comes from the matte finish.
The same fern pattern is engraved on the surface of both rings.
When the rings are placed together, the pattern becomes one.
Both rings have the same width of 2.5 mm.
Through the softly squared profile, the reassuring weight of yellow gold can be felt.
As I held the rings in my hands, I thought of you both and felt so warm.

In a joyful shimmer, like the smile of spring.

When things meet, something wonderful happens.

I saw a lovely sunset on the evening before shipping the rings.
Thank you, Yakushima, for always watching over our ring making with such warmth.
And yes, we are walking into a new chapter.
Someday, perhaps we can meet again.
I would love to hear the next chapter of your story.
From Yakushima South, where spring is beginning to fill the air.
